About Debra Mastronardi

Stunning photos have always been my preferred form of art. I get inspired by what is possible when I look through the lens. I started shooting with film years ago and enjoyed capturing my life’s journey through my camera. This all came to a grinding halted after the birth of my children. The camera never left my side for over two decades as I captured every life event we experienced; however I switched off manual and onto auto functions. There was no time to fiddle around with aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.

Well now I’m onto the next chapter of my life, the “empty nester”. I renewed my passion for photography with help from a few friends who are in the business and started shooting again. My theme for this rebirth is “Life Off Of Auto”. It means more then moving the dial from A to M. It’s a transition from the children’s needs and schedule to a more spontaneous lifestyle and rediscovering my life with my husband.
